God promises to never leave us nor forsake us.

"Let all that I am praise the Lord; with my whole heart, I will praise his holy name. Let all that I am praise the LORD; may I never forget the good things he does for me. He forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases."
~Psalm 103:1-3
I think I’m in pretty good health, so I was quite alarmed when my body went through some sudden changes recently. For starters, I woke up one morning vomiting and off balance. One day I couldn’t even stand so I went to urgent care to get checked out. They prescribed some medicine for allergies and sent me home. The symptoms remained, so I made an appointment with my PCP.
Â
This wasn't my first visit at the PCP, so during this visit they began to ask questions concerning my mental state. I replied, "I'm anxious because I haven't been feeling well and I don't know what's happening with my body, and not because I feel threatened or want to take my own life." I understand they were just doing their job; however, I didn't feel as if their questions were getting me closer to easing my concerns. After a complete workup, the diagnosis was pre-diabetes.
Â
After several doctor visits, I felt like the woman with the issue of blood for 12 years. She went and had second and third opinions, but none of the doctors could help her. I'm sure that she was disappointed with what she had been told; however, this woman knew Jesus. She believed that if she could just touch the hem of His garment that she would be made whole and because of her faith, she had been healed.
Â
I too know Jesus. The One who healeth all thine diseases. There is no illness that is too complex for Him. He has not been stumped and unable to provide an answer not once. I will continue to trust in Him. I believe that He will heal me just as He did for the woman with the issue of blood.
Â
I encourage you to never forget God's benefits. He takes care of His children. He promised to never leave or forsake us. No matter what we have done, forgiveness is available. Hold on to that instead of what you see or have heard from physicians. God has the final say.
Â
Prayers for your journey.
