There is no failure God’s love and redemption cannot cover.

I was 27 years old when I felt as though the ashes of all my failures were too much to overcome. I did not know how to rise up again. I needed a lifeline, and I needed it right away!
Can you relate? Maybe you feel hopeless in the face of a failure that you don’t know how to put behind you so that you can move forward?
Maybe it’s a new feeling or it’s one you’ve struggled with your entire life.
But can I whisper God’s Word of hope into your life right now?
“Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” -Lamentations 3:22-23
Friend, the devil uses failure to deceive you. He uses it to distract you from your purpose, passion, and desire to follow God’s call on your life. He confuses you by making you believe your identity is in your brokenness instead of in the God who loves you beyond measure and created you in His likeness.
But the devil is a liar.
Yes, maybe you’ve made mistakes and are staring at the ugly head of the world’s definition of failure. But you are not alone. You are accompanied by all of humanity and fought for by the God of the Universe.
We all fail in this lifetime. But there is no failure God’s love and redemption cannot cover. And there is no failure He will not use to equip us for a good plan and a good future.
Be assured, your painful moments are not dead ends; rather, they are a holy training ground for something even greater.
So, hold onto Jesus and His promises. Know that He is with you and working on behalf of you. Then take His hand and rise up. His hope is being unveiled in your time of trial.
A 27-year-old me did not know Jesus or His hope as I do today. But even that did not stop Him from reaching into the ashes to find me. One baby step at a time, I made it through and discovered the God who saves and who created me for purposes far beyond my imagination. And sweet sister, He will do the same for you.
